The Sanctuary Sundays

We partner with Degage, a ministry in Grand Rapids that provides food and shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Twice a month we hold a Sunday service with worship and a message. We then serve a full lunch and have time for visiting and one on one ministry. During these Sundays, we focus on building relationships that then allow us to more personally share the Gospel and the love of Jesus with them. So many decisions for Christ have come from these Sunday services, as they gives us the opportunity to bring the powerful hope of Christ to so many during a very difficult season in their lives.
City Impact Saturday Services

We have a thriving outreach in Cedar Spring where we have a weekly Church service on Saturdays. We provide a groceries to those in need and provide a place to worship, hear the word of God, and fellowship with one another. There are multiple ways to serve in this outreach, including grocery restocking, delivery drivers, ministry teams, etc.

Areas you can get involved in:

The Sanctuary Sundays - 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 10am. Providing a meal, church service and street ministry for the uh-homed. Areas to get involved: Food prep & serving, ministry team, greeters, sound & tech, security, photographers and street ministry team.

City Impact Services - Every Saturday evening. Grocery Garage and a Church service.

Pop Up Church - 2nd Sunday of the month at noon. Preparing and serving a meal to the homeless community, spending time and praying with them.

Blessing Box - Grocery Deliveries are on the last Thursday of the month. Delivering groceries to families in local neighborhoods and local trailer parks. Areas to get involved: Packing groceries and delivering groceries.

Kid’s Connect - Yearly VBS, 3rd Thursday of the month (and special holiday events throughout the year). We create a fun, welcoming space for kids through food, games, and connection.

Mom’s Connect - Wednesdays 6-7:30pm. Connection time with moms as we share a meal, a message and build relationships.

Safe Families - Help parents experiencing a temporary crisis by providing a loving Christian family with whom their children may stay until the crisis has passed. Families helping families when a crisis strikes.

Grocery Garage - Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday serving opportunities every week. Areas to get involved: check in our neighbors, help them shop for food and bring food out to their cars, drivers to pick up groceries throughout the week, help unload and restock shelves with groceries.

Youth Center - Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30pm. Chaperones and mentors for the students.

Handyman Services - Drywall repair, light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, debris removal, painting, light yard work, cleaning.
